The fate of the schooner Adelaar seemed sealed: On a small jetty in a small East German village on the Baltic Sea, he sat rust. But under the present owner of it comes with a lot of convenience to some of the most spectacular dive sites in the world. Indonesian hotspots, in the truest sense of the word.

Indonesia – once formed the largest island country in the world a land bridge between Asia and Australia in the north to the south. Massive floods after the last ice age about 10,000 years ago created new conditions. The nature designed to thoroughly, further sticking out of the water. The result is an archipelago of more than 17,000 islands today. They lie along the equator – scattered over an area of 5,000 kilometers between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.
